Look under the logo and you will find a small hole in the base

  1. Loosen the screw on the base in the back with a small allen wrench (3/32) which will allow the shaft to move freely back and forth.

  2. Push the shaft back

  3. Tighten the screw with the allen wrench

  4. Happy Spinning!

Why did this happen? This most likely happened during shipping and will not be a problem once the shaft is pushed back into place and tightened with the set screw.

What is the white residue on my bearings near the treadle?

If you notice Residue on the bearings of your wheel, that is caused by the finish of the wood rubbing off on the bearings. You can take a dry cloth to wipe this residue off. A small amount of residue is normal. However, if you notice the residue when troubleshooting for other wheel issues - it's possible it's been caused by a misaligned treadle.

If you suspect your treadle is no longer in alignment, email videos to help@spinolution.com for troubleshooting.
